Sighting We saw a dog huddled next to the cement barrier on riverside drive tonight ( about 5:45)with the cars whipping by him. It is where riverside cuts down to 1 lane right before you get to ridge avenue where they are replacing the bridge. We circled around and came back, stopped traffic to see if he would come to us and he ran. We went on up where it turns back into 2 lanes and pulled over while my husband walked back. He wouldt got close to him. He just stood back and barked. He is now near the bride that is being replaced but at least out of the traffic. He just looks so scared and the cars are driving so fast. He looks to be a young boxer or boxer mix. Maybe about 40 lbs or so....black with a little white around neck. I didnt notice a collar but then it was dark except for the car lights. I hope he doesnt get hit.
