We’ve been touring the cities around the pipeline, giving presentations on resistance to tar sands infrastructure and forging alliances with local groups to step up and fight this bullshit project. We’re going to continue putting energy into coalition building as well as building a larger base of public support, but this leaves us with personnel needs for doing rowdy shit. If you’re a skilled rigger, climber, organizer, or self-directed rowdy folk, get in contact with us! We’re working on hashing out a winning strategy that will accomplish goals redundant with sustaining anti-infrastructure movements and groups in the Midwest and Plains states, but we need folks to help us throw down while we do this. We’re also asking that folks who are able to get into affinity groups (or crews) along the route let us know what support they would like. So, if you have the skills, get at us. We’d also be hella stoked to facilitate affinity groups posting up in proximity to the point of construction/destruction. We know there’s SO MUCH SHIT going on right now, and are totes down with all of it, but if Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma is closer/more convenient for ya’ll, we would love to have you.
