(Please see our BSL L6 flyer for more details) The content of Learning Curve:- • Learn to use complex BSL in a wide range of work situations with deaf people with Signature BSL to use complex BSL in a wide range of work situations with deaf people with Signature BSL Level 4 or 6 qualifications. • Acquire a wide range of regional variations, formal and informal language, relevant technical vocabulary and colloquialisms. • Take part in negotiations and deal with complaints, problems or disputes in BSL. • Learn to identify different complex conducts by deaf people (part of deaf cultural language systems) in BSL and to use both informal and formal register in BSL. • Deliver both informal and formal presentations in BSL with the aid of resources such as PowerPoint or physical resources such as a car engine or computer. • Expect to read and identify the complex details of car engines, human organs, computer systems, and how to fill in HM Inland Revenue Self Assessment. The learner will then use some of these to translate and present to deaf people in their own visual language. • Acquire a wide range of regional variations, formal and informal language, relevant technical vocabulary and colloquialisms.
