Signs Youre A Truly Genuine Person We are born with a programmed barometer that allows us to be genuine or not. We try to be honest with ourselves and others, but thats not always easy, or the best solution. As humans, we periodically evaluate our behavior and the effect it has on ourselves and others. One of the focuses of the self-awareness aspect of metaphysics, and life in general, is Truth - even when it hurts and change must be made. 1. High self-esteem: If you look good and feel good you will go out and conquer life. Sometimes the best way to deal with disappointment in one arena is to accomplish something in another. 2. You embrace vulnerability: For some people, as they get older, this is easy because they know what theyre good at and where their faults lie. For others, this is very difficult, because they are supersensitive. 3. You share your true thoughts, beliefs and opinions with the world. For me this is easy as I have been teaching, lecturing and blogging for decades and feel secure in what I write. I allow everyone their own truth because I believe we are all programmed for the events in our lives and no one can make you do or believe something until your programming allows for it. Dont pontificate - just talk. 4. You openly give and receive compliments. Compliments are only valid when sincere. 5. You really listen -- and prefer deep conversations. Its good to listen to others, but as the deep conversations if something doesnt make sense to you you should speak your mind. Some people just want to be heard. 6. Youre driven by an inner voice rather than your surroundings.
