Sikkim education system stands at the crossroad as of today.government announcement to establish teachers recruitment board is halfhearted measures. Sikkim govt needs to draw n come up with comprehensive State Education policy.Sikkim is the only state in Indian union which dnt have education policy.and its BIZARRE DEFICIT. State with so many departments without State policy is like a ship without its Captain.ship may navigate but without destination. I would like call upon government to formulate state policy of all the major departments.because all policy documents are actually VISION Documents,which are trussed together to act as a guide for achieving the states cherished goals n objectives. Its also for the same reason that Sikkim organic mission is the failed mission.had our govt drafted agricultural policy in time...SOM wld have survived.
