Silent Splendour - We are here, now what?, is the second instalment in a six part series retracing the transformation of a small garden. What was a barren and empty space evolved into a place of beauty and tranquility. It has been a journey taking more than a decade and one that still boards new passengers. The second installment revisits the early stages of new beds being cut out and the birth of a plan to transform both the small front yard and a larger backyard. Plants in their infancy began to take root and flourish, with the awakening of Spring 2003 life and colour burst forth together with the motivation to do so much more.
