Silent Sunday Pt. 80 The time has come to wrap up the old year 2014 with the 80th (!) edition of this weekly blog. And what better way to go about the upcoming new year’s end partying than giving you some of Germany’s very own Schlagerstar Heino, https://facebook/HEINO.de No idea who actually thought it would be a good move for this guy (Who was born in 1938 and who has been releasing Volksmusik since the 60’s already by the way…) to go “modern”, but the success of his “Mit freundlichen Grüßen” pop/rock covers album (Incl. songs by Die Ärzte, Rammstein, Oomph!, Nena and many more…) last year has apparently made him go another step further, after he already had a guest appearance on stage with Rammstein at last year’s Wacken Open Air festival: Heino has now launched a rock/metal sounding album of covers of his biggest own catagogue hits and the album’s first single and title-track is the Rammstein styled version of “Schwarz blüht der Enzian” (Which used to be “Blau blüht der Enzian” in the non-metal version!)…?
