Silent actions. Once again guys we will be continuing to look at the book of Proverbs chapter 15 the first 14 verses. I just wanted to say I have thoroughly enjoyed where the Lord has taken us in these bible studies. God knows what we need and he provides. God is so good to us daily and in these lessons also. I thank God for his Word and for its teaching and correcting in our lives. Thank you God. I love you. Lord of Lords and King of Kings!!! Look at this first verse carefully as it says, A soft answer turns away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.. Here is a great word of advice found here in Gods Word. Have you ever had an argument with someone? Often times arguments end up in heated discussions or even yelling right? Could you imagine being in an argument and the other person whispered? It would be hard to argue with someone with a soft response right? What we are being told here is to answer softly and pick quiet words in order to turn wrath away as we seek peace in these situations. I am sure we all know harsh words or raised voices make these situations worse but is hard to remember when these events take place in our lives. Let us apply this to our heart to hold dearly for the next time disagreements strike. Let us continue on in the scripture, The tongue of the wise uses knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools pours out foolishness The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. It is wise to remember that God knows all and sees all things. Does God know that the world is running rampant? Does he know all the evil things that are going on? I stand before you in truth tonight and tell you he knows. Not only does he know he cares. Just as he knows the evil God also sees the good also. Let us not give up because the evil will be punished and the good will be rewarded in due time. Maybe not even on this side of eternity but I promise it will happen. And the bible says here in verse 4, A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. A fool despises his fathers instruction: but he that regards reproof is prudent. In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble. The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish does not so.The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loves him that follows after righteousness. Correction is grievous unto him that forsakes the way: and he that hates reproof shall die. Hell and destruction are before the Lord: how much more then the hearts of the children of men? A scorner loves not one that reproves him: neither will he go unto the wise. A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feeds on foolishness. Reading this last verse here I ask you what are you feeding your minds? I mean what are you reading? What television shows and movies is your mind desiring to watch? What music are you listening to? Our mental diet consist of so many things. All these things influence our health, our well-being, our actions, our walk with Christ, and many many more things. We need to be very careful on what we allow our minds to be fed. By doing so have the understanding that we need Godly wisdom and to seek after it with our everything. We need to live by example to this lost and dying world and let them see Christ in us and working through us. God deserves our all. Will you give him your all even down to your own personal preferences? I am praying for you all both lost and saved alike. If God is dealing with something in your life that you would like to discuss with a friend I am here for you all. Until next time God willing...I love ya guys!!!
