Silver bands and choirs are combining to raise money for the Royal British Legion poppy appeal, in remembrance of those who have served in the armed forces and lost their lives or been injured. The appeal helps the widows and families of these armed forces personnel. In the last twelve months it has spent over £56 million in aid to these unfortunate people. Pencoed Social Club On Sunday 3rd November starting at 7.30 pm the Pencoed Silver Band is combining with Brackla Community Chorus to perform in a concert in the old Royal British Legion club now the Social Club, Hendre Road, Pencoed. Tickets are £3.00 from members of the band, choristers and the club.
