Silverdale Lions FC 3 Brownhills 3 Extra time - 4-5 on pens Great cup game against strong opposition today Brownhills are a very good team, we was without our goalkeeper Ben Sharp today which was a massive blow and it was obvious the score wouldve been different had he played. A massive thank you to Joe Reed for volunteering to go in goal and pulled off 2 fantastic saves. Only negative I can say is we waiting till the second half to step up and play to our full abilities and create chances, goals came from Josh, Brookeymar Baugh and Mide Oshiga a few contenders for man of the match today Harvey Hopson was brilliant as always so was Mide, Josh too but man of the match was Ashraf for his hard work and distribution in midfield. Also a nassive thank you to Joshs Dad whos donated £100 to the team for Josh scoring 5 goals this season, Josh is a centre half by the way! So we are out the cup but we can focus on the league now so well done boys each one of you done me and Tom Simpson proud as you always do! See you tues at training, John Clarke
