Simon Rattle’s Schumann on LP in a limited edition “Fabulous sonority” for vinyl fans Vinyl is experiencing an unprecedented comeback. More and more music lovers are revelling in the warm, silky sound of the LP and delighting in the large format album art. The first Berliner Philharmoniker Recordings label release in this long-established format is also now available: First class pressings of Robert Schumann’s four symphonies on four LPs, performed by the Berliner Philharmoniker under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle. This premium edition is numbered and limited to 1000 copies. The release of the Schumann cycle on CD and Blu-ray has already received rave reviews.
