Simple Joys, Day 36 It was a cold, dreary, rainy Monday. I couldnt warm up. I took layering to a new level. Feeling warm and cozy dispels the weather and the early darkness. There was a flock of geese on the pond this morning along with the over 100 Mallards. This is a first. This is a first. Never had a flock on the pond. Later today, three wild turkeys flew overhead very low. They landed on the back lawn and then headed into a tree. The beauties of nature are all around us if we take the time to look. I spent the weekend mainly doing...nothing. Theres joy in doing nothing which means doing what makes me feel nurtured. No work...movies...wine...food I enjoy making...a hot bubble bath accompanied by wine, music, and candles...reading and reading more...listening to music...catching Mum Radio on replay and strutting in the sun room...I love that show. Thanks Joe Anderson! Went to the adidas party at Inside Track which was fun. Great food from Bushel and Barrel and CWC hard cider. Yum! Thank you Sayard and Logan. My daughter, son in law, and grandkids stopped in at the party. Its is always a joy to be with them. My son will be 40 a week from today. How did this happen? :) Its a joy to be part of his journey. Im very proud of him. Cat RG is curled up in his bed. Sophie is munching. Alls right with my world. Simple joys brighten even the gloomiest of days. I am grateful.
