Tell them what we want? Be able to hear their answers? It might not be possible for us to talk to them as we talk to each other, but it is possible to communicate with them, let them know what we want, and to understand what they are trying to tell us. Among the most common all breed training & behavioural problems are: • Lead pulling • Recall • Jumping up • Aggression • Obsessive behaviour • Chasing Among the most common rescue related problems are: • Where to find a rescue dog • Acquiring rescue back up • How to introduce him/her into the home or to another dog • Settling a rescue in during the first few weeks • Rescue issues You can look forward to an entertaining and enlightening afternoon when all the above and more are on the agenda. Both rescue and Mainline team dogs will be on standby to demonstrate lead walking and natural communication. The event includes a demonstration of working collies and how they are trained for sheepwork with the opportunity to try your hand at working a dog without voice command using body language only.
