Simply not a good enough performance today; even Sanchez looked fatigued but the main worry is still the defence. If other clubs such as City, Spurs, Liverpool, Everton and United were performing to their capabilities we would be in a really bad situation. However, this doesnt excuse our inability to see out a lead, its the 6th time this season where weve given one up and something drastic has to happen! Chambers is simply not good enough at RB, he doesnt have the pace or technical ability to flourish in that position. Mertesacker has lost his dominance and is looking more like the player he was in our first season, although he is still our best fit defender. Monreal, personally I dont think hes a good enough full-back let alone CB and I wouldnt mind if he was replaced by a younger and fitter defender. Then theres Gibbs, he in my opinion is insanely underrated although he still attacks too much and leaves large gaps between him and his LCB. Flamini, hes been a disaster so far this evening and all the passion he had and has just isnt enough to justify keeping him in the team and quiet simply he is a passenger. Ramsey, he had a spectacular last season but it doesnt matter, hes resting on what he has done in the past and is to selfish and to put it bluntly - he has stopped playing for the team. This isnt good enough for a club like Arsenal and we need to spend a good £25-£35m on defensive dominating, strong and pace players in the January window if we want to get top four because right now 4th place is by far and out the highest we will finish this season. -JR
