Simply unbelievable ending to an otherwise amazing #UFC167. I make no effort in hiding the fact that Ive been pulling for Johny Hendricks for a while, but anyone watching that fight has to agree he won. I cannot even began to fathom what the judges saw that I didnt to give the title back to GSP. I was absolutely certain that if the fight went five rounds, Hendricks was going to lose. Heck, if it went three rounds I was worried. GSP is just a conditioned beast that I didnt believe Hendricks would be able to match. Surprisingly, Hendricks went the distance and he did so in stellar fashion. Finishing the fight without so much as a bruise or anything even slightly resembling a cut. GSP on the other hand, looked like, well, he looked like he just came out of the losing end of a bar fight. Which; he did. This is hard to swallow. For a guy like me who has only been a UFC fan for about a year, to see someones hard work taken away for what I can only imagine to be a homer-judge, its just beyond me. Dana White (president of the UFC) is famous for always saying Dont leave it to the judges... and tonight I honestly wonder if the judges know thats not actually a rule. Someone on twitter said it best, after GSP went on his little I may or may not retire due to personal issues bent: Of course GSP has to retire for personal issues, he is going to jail for robbing Hendricks.
