Since 1879, Farmers National Bank staff have worked to support our communities within Boyle, Garrard, Lincoln and Mercer counties. This week is no different. The Kentucky State BBQ Festival, which will be held in Danville this weekend, is also hosting a Arts Auction Round-up to benefit Heart of Kentucky United Way. On Friday evening, September 5th, kicking off the 4th Ever Kentucky State BBQ Festival, canvases will be auctioned off at the Arts Auction Round-up with all proceeds going to Heart of Kentucky United Way. Local businesses and individuals are sponsoring canvases supplied by the Kentucky State BBQ Festival. The canvases will be decorated by local artists selected by the sponsors. Farmers National Bank is happy to be a corporate sponsor of the event. Staff members Jennifer Cochran and Amy Newell have once again pooled their talents and created a special arts piece for the fundraising event. All of the canvases will be available for viewing immediately preceding the auction beginning at 6:30 PM, at the VIP Event tent at the Kentucky State BBQ Festival, Constitution Square, in Danville. The auction will commence at 8:00 PM. Tickets will be $25 to the public ($30 at door). Tickets are available at Heart of Kentucky United Way, at 118 N. Third Street, Danville, KY 40422.
