Since Barack Obama’s election as President of the United States, - TopicsExpress

Since Barack Obama’s election as President of the United States, the country has seen the crystallization of two separate and distinct political ideologies. Obama representing liberalism / progressivism and the Tea Party which represents conservatism and Founding Father principles. With Obama progressivism has been unleashed with the passage of Obamacare, tragic U.S. policies toward our international friends and foes, the enormous expansion of the size and centralization of government, massive debt accumulation along with destructive Executive orders and federal regulations. On the other hand we have seen the ascendency of conservatism expressed in the form of the new patriotic Tea Party movement and Friedrich Hayek’s famous book Road To Serfdom. The Tea Party is the direct reaction to the unbridled liberalism and progressivism thrusted upon the nation by President Obama and the liberal congress, initially led by Harry Reid in the Senate and Nancy Pelosi in the House of Representatives. In 2012 America will be faced with these stark contrasts and we must decide the course of the country going into this new millennium. We believe to make an informed decision Americans, who are concerned with the direction of the country, must educate themselves about the two options. Today, the two ideologies have been expressed by the actions taken by their leading proponents, progressives and conservatives. What I fear most Americans do not understand are the root beliefs of the two ideologies; for Tea Party supporters there is the U.S. Constitution and Friedrich Hayek’s book, The Road to Serfdom. For liberals and Progressives it is FABIAN SOCIALISM as seen today in the economic model of Keynesianism. Although it is doubtful that Americans really understand the Constitution as they should I believe that most Americans see it as a moral document that laid the foundation for forming the greatest Republic to ever exist. What I’m certain of, however, is that the vast majority of Americans know absolutely nothing about FABIAN SOCIALISM as now manifested in Keynesianism economics and which now permeates American society through our educational, political and governmental structures. To create a more informed electorate, prior to the 2012 election, it is important that people understand the core root premise that forms the foundation of the two opposing ideologies. Friedrich Hayek’s book The Road to Serfdom is the free market’s or capitalism’s counter argument to Fabian Socialism. In the book Friedrich “warned of the danger of tyranny that inevitably results from government control of economic decision-making through central planning,”[1] and in which he argues that the abandonment of individualism, classical liberalism, and freedom inevitably leads to socialist or fascist oppression and tyranny and the serfdomof the individual. Significantly, Hayek challenged the general view among British academics that fascism was a capitalist reaction against socialism, instead arguing that fascism and socialism had common roots in central economic planning and the power of the state over the individual. The Road to Serfdom is among the most influential and popular expositions of market libertarianism and remains a popular and influential work in contemporary discourse, selling over two million copies, and remaining a best-seller. We provide a copy of the book here for BQI readers. Just click on the book’ s picture to access. Attached to this commentary is a book titled “KEYNES AT HARVARD …..Economic Deception as a Political Cred”. (click on picture to the right to access) The book provides a beautiful, well thought out and researched presentation on John Maynard Keynes, an economist and the father of the Keynesianism economic model. Keynesianism economics has recently received much publicity because it is this theory that Progressives like Obama and liberals subscribe to and which is now being used by Obama as well as many European countries, to address the world wide economic chaos. In effect, it is also the model embraced by Occupy Wall Street supporters when they call for the demise of capitalism and to have it replaced by Socialism and in some cases Marxism and Communism. I realize that many of our readers are focused on their busy lives, going about their jobs and daily tasks taking care of their families. I hope, however, some time will be carved from our busy schedules to better understand what we as conservatives are faced with. Fabian socialism has permeated throughout our society now for the past 100 years and has become deeply embedded within our culture, economic, political structures and educational institutions. The picture to the right is one of two symbols for Fabian Socialism. You will notice that it is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It would seem that this tells us all that we need to know about Fabian Socialism. To read “KEYNES AT HARVARD …..Economic Deception as a Political Cred” click on the picture below or any of the above pictures. Like the picture of the Wolf In Sheep Clothing, the other Fabian Socialism picture below notes their motto “Remould It Nearer To The Heart’s Desire”. Also note that they are refashioning the world through fire, which we submit could mean by any means but especially chaos or turmoil.
