Since Cinda took sick, we have had three friends of her come and stay for a week or more and also two hired care takers who stayed for a period of time. Now each person has their own opinion of where things belong when it comes time to empty the dishwasher. The end result - over a period of time - is that nothing is where it was when we started. This is small dishes, large dishes, platters, water glasses, wine glasses, pots, pans, carving knives, soup ladles and dozens of other items. I could not do this myself because I have an arm in a sling and some things go onto top shelves. So I could not keep track of where things were going and the cumulative result is that now I am in the house alone and it is bewildering. This is not a major factor in moving through life but I wish I could find that small skillet that I use for scrabbled eggs.
