Since Grace International Churchs inception almost 9 years ago, Ive essentially been the only preacher/minister. I always searched for help from outside in the form of guest speakers and even posting on social media and Craigslist that we needed an Associate Pastor. It had become engrained in our church so much so that people could be heard saying Pastor we are praying you get the help we all know you need. Then I read the calling of David in 1 Samuel and heard Gods reminder that often our criteria is not His criteria and that we can often overlook who He has called right in our house. That was it. God was shutting doors so that the only view I had was of who was in front of me. I prayed, fasted, asked God what to do. His answer: Ask. I asked. 4 incredible gifts came forward in the span of 2 weeks. 4 people who felt God calling them to the ministry of teaching and preaching and didnt know how to express it previously. LOOK AT GOD. I plan on pouring everything I have into them. In the mean time, I am beyond amazed by Gods hand. Ready for the next chapter of our church! God is GOOD!!!
