Since I am so close to THE edge already...here it goes. When I voted today, there were folks standing outside holding signs. I made mention to him that at least it was a nice day! He reminded me it was raining in the morning, I had forgotten about that. He was nice, he didnt say much else. There were people inside complaining about those sign holder people. I thought about that a while. I wasnt mad at them at all. Someone asked if it was legal. I checked. They do have to stay 100 feet away in order to maintain order. I thought about that too. I thought that was sorta sad that had to be a law at all. I passed them again on my way home from work and I pointed to my sticker, he held his thumbs up. What they are doing is reminding people to vote. Who cares what their sign says. Dont you already have your decision made anyway? I hope so! If anyone is persuaded by seeing a sign 100 feet from the polling booths, that is what is sad. Do you instantly turn into the pizza place because its $5.00 day? It does make me wonder what we are having for dinner, thats about it for me tonight. Im going to go drown some flies.
