Since I have friends and loved ones who genuinely NEED to use handicapped spaces, Ive become aware of the GLARING abuse of them. When I went to Walgreens, a truck pulled into the handicapped space closest to the door. The truck had no placard, and the man who got out was carrying a little girl of about two. Both appeared quite healthy. As I was leaving, there was a car legitimately parked in one space, and an unmarked truck pulled into the other. Then, to make things worse, a motorcycle pulled in onto the striped space between the two spaces! When did people become so thoughtless????
