Since I just received a ton of mail on this subject... :) There is going to be a plaque on this robot, perhaps a few plaques, and at some point, this thing is going to be on TV. I cant tell you too much about that, but yes, its going to happen. I may need some help with this beast. this is the kind of help I may need. Hands ( just to hold and move things) Tool Using Monkeys ( you know, people who know how to use saws and drills and stuff without losing their fingers and such) Video (Take moving pictures) Photographer (to take not so moving pictures) Minions (fetch stuff, do stuff.) Targets (these are people who just want to stand around and tell me how to do my job... while I throw hammers at them.) What you get: Fed! Name on plaque! Bragging Rights! Lodging! (if you are staying for a bit.) YOU GET TO WORK ON A GIANT ROBOT! So, here are the restrictions so people do not feel too bad when I say, sorry, but... First, you need to be able to do what I ask (all reasonable stuff here) without a load of fuss. this is usually the deal killer for most people. We have 6 cats, they are the most important things in the Manor. If you are allergic to the point of dysfunction... Im terribly sorry. I wish I could pay loads of people to do this, but this is basically a promotional project, Im not getting paid loads for this, most of the $$$ are going into the tools and the supplies to make this beast. So this is a semi-volunteer thing. I can make this with the crew I have, but it will be even better with more hands on deck. Message me if you can and are willing to help. Im starting this week.
