Since I mentioned the Lincoln I should say a bit about it - 1932 Lincoln Judkins Coupe with a rumble seat. A Tom Paley, a professor and folk singer (part of the New City Ramblers) owned it and took it to my dads Shell station on South St. My dad did some repairs and ended up with the car. Dad abandoned it at the Texaco St. that is now the pizza place on South St. Tom Welles Jr. bought it. He sold it to a Jerry Lettieri, who sold it to some other people, who sold it to a man who started the restoration. Gene Nau, the current owner, finished the job. Tom Welles Jr came out to CA for Pebble. Thats Tom and me in the second picture. The first one is of the Lincoln driving onto the Pebble field at about 5:30 am.
