Since I was born in Aberdeen Scotland and raised in Belfast Northern Ireland I have a special interest in the Scottish missionary God called to bring the gospel to Ireland, namely Patrick. Several years ago on a trip back home with my daughters we visited his burial place in the grounds of the Protestant Cathedral at Downpatrick in County Down in Northern Ireland.
