Since I was deleted in order to preserve a point of view.....The entire New Testament was given to us by God in 5000 words of street Greek not Classical Greek given by a king. Street Greek written by ordinary, spirit filled people like fisherman, a Pharisee and a doctor. Is it so important to some that Bible translation be stunted to preserve a status that was never intended as a measurement of sound theology except by those who wanted to prove they were more conservative than others? There were heretics who read the first Greek NT and there will be attempts to destroy and corrupt the NT today. I am fully aware of translation disputes and methodologies. The same God that protected the WORD then will do so now and he will use those who believe it to preach and pass it to the next generations. The issue is; Do you believe the whole Bible is without error? If you do then translation of Scripture becomes a way to share Gods perfect word with others as language needs arise or changes through the ages.
