Since I was very young I allowed noise to drown out the silence that at first seemed too painful to endure. And yet I realize that even within noise blaring at unspeakable decibels quiet can be found. Miles Davis believed that in fact it was silence, the ghost notes between notes, that serves as the foundation of music. And I believe god willing I will find the quiet needed for my meditation there. Just my thoughts. #PEACE
