Since Im on vaca relaxin fiddlin around da crib, alone in my thoughts, I thought Id share some of em. This may be a long one so keep scrolling if you was just skimming through your newspaper ( Fb newsfeed ;) I read a book once to learn how to make a outline to write a book. I found that my mind works in a similar pattern. You start with a blank sheet to freehand your ideas. Then you try to put in order the chapters and flow of the book. And thats where you focus- The chapters and flow of the book. My thoughts present themselves to me this exact way. I need order in my life. I need life to flow together in a focused order. I never understood when old heads use to tell me, they set in their way. The old head was showing me that from that perspective that could be perceived as disciplined. Or stubborn. Growth is a process. And at any moment when we begin to judge wat [ones perception ] is agaisnt [anothers perception ] of things, we lose sight of the subject: disciplined or stubborn. Growing up is never about a date or the moment your life began. Growing up is - every step we take closer to our dream, sacrificing and failing along the way, but fighting hard to realize your dream, disciplining yourself to get there. Stubborn is sulking because things didnt go your way. Being older is not growing up. Growing- just the word itself suggest something is happening? Being able to disipline yourself takes time and effort. A Dr. Made up his mind that he was going to be a Dr, made up his mind that he wanted to heal. He didnt think only abot the money- because to be a Dr takes disipline and focus. Money isnt enough of a reward for all that you put in for that profession,(maybe a lawyer would have intention of riches), but the Dr wants to heal something. Disipline or stubborn, the lawyer is stubborn. Im learning the difference between disciplined and stubborn. Grown ups , Grew up - wat do I want to be when I grow up?
