Since Im so good at taking photos of photos, I decided to post this. This is Connanaught place. Im there right now! Im posting this in honor of the many Indian doctors that came to Melbourne during the late 70s and early 80s. My uncle who raised me, was one of these docs. He was the first radiation oncologist at Holmes, Dr. Popovich was quite instrumental in bringing him to Melbourne. When Holmes gave my uncle a hard time about seeing patients at our other local hospitals, he left and took his whole department to create Cancer Care Centers of Brevard! (Ill post the newspaper article from that time soon) We have some of the best healthcare in Florida because of the work our Indian doctors.
