Since Ive moved, things have been super stressful, and Ive been coping with my reoccurring depression off and on. But I feel like Ive finally hit a point where things are starting to fall into place. I have a job at Bad Ass Coffee that I love, and coworkers who are all a pleasure to work with, as well as bosses who are both understanding, patient and genuinely good people. I make great money, enough to support my needs, and I can finally actually afford to start paying off my loans as soon as next month, while covering my bills and not having to stress about whether or not Ill have money to eat. I have a place that Im finally going to get to decorate and make my own next week. My family is visiting next week as well, and I couldnt be more excited to see them! Im so grateful that theyre all taking their time to enjoy a vacation to come a see me (Im sure the island is a good incentive too. :p) In closing, I just want to thank everyone who has showed me the utmost support in my decision to move here. Its been a big change, and I cant express how much I still miss my home and all my wonderful friends back in KC. But this is something that I knew if I didnt do, I would regret for the rest of my life. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to my family and friends. I love you all more than you can know.
