Since May 5th, David and I have both been juicing organic veggies and citrus and such. We have only missed maybe 4 days when we are busy running around, but on those days, we did healthy breakfast smoothies or we ate salads along with our other meals. We dont ONLY juice, we do eat other things we like. We dont buy sugar anymore. We only use Stevia or Truvia. We have cut WAY back on bread. We rarely buy potato chips. We dont use catsup, we use Louisiana Hot Sauce on everything. David was walking 4 miles a day but he hurt his back then his foot started bothering him, so he is taking a break. A week ago I bought a mini trampoline (rebounder) and I have been using it every day. Its harder than it looks to stay on it for more than 7 minutes at a time. I am building up stamina everyday. The energy levels we have are Way UP there! David can do the rebounder too EVEN with replacement knees. Its way easier on the joints than walking on the ground. And the best thing lately we have noticed we Sleep all night really good and dont wake up at 4 or 5 a.m. Organic is the way to go whenever possible, to avoid pesticides. Farmers Markets and little Farm stands are the Best! We make breakfast everyday if possible. We incorporate peppers/green chilies/pablanos..any kind of green or other color peppers...DAILY. We make Migas a lot with fresh corn tortillas and chilies. Yum. We have not given up bacon, and not gonna! WE ration our daily bacon to two slices, so we dont go overboard. We rarely eat potatoes, but when we can find them we buy Purple potatoes. We cook Quinoa a Lot, its our new Rice, and I think I could be vegetarian easily, but we are not quite that strict yet. We have been experimenting with gluten free products, so far we dont like much of them. We just try to eat lots of foods that are naturally gluten free. WE feel so good and Healthy and Lean! Just wanted to share.
