Since October of 2013, I have learned a few things I didnt know about some people on Facebook. One lesson I have learned so far is something about Joan Crawford fans. Now, I am talking about hardcore fans of Joan Crawford. WARNING: If you happen to make a negative comment about Joan Crawford, even if it is in the slightest way, and one of her die hard fans just so happens to read it, you will, without a shadow of a doubt, get a response, and it wont be pretty. All I said, once, was how Crawfords movies either hit or flopped at the box office. Boooy, o boy! This elderly woman replied with vengeance. It might as well have been Joan Crawford herself. Girrrl! She read me like a book from cover to cover and I almost didnt recover. I also learned that her die hard fans call her either Joannie or Our Joannie. Well, I learned my lesson well, and I definitely have a few goods thing to say about Joan Crawford. She was excellent in MILDRED PIERCE, and she deserved the Best Actress Oscar for a leading role in 1945.
