Since Paul uses the term "Divers Kinds of Tongues" to describe the gift in 1Corinthians 12:10, and the word divers simply means different, there must be more than one gift of tongues. This makes perfect sense if we consider 1Corinthians 14:2 and Acts 2:4. 1Corinthians 14:2 describes a gift that is spoken secretly to God that no man understands. Acts 2:4 describes a gift that is spoken publicly that men do understand. This is obviously two different gifts.
