Since a few people have been asking me about it.... Hes doing much better now, but on Saturday night my dad fell and bounced his head pretty severely on the sidewalk. Someone called 911 and an officer (Rodriguez) who was 2 blocks away was the first on the scene. Sounds like she saved his life. She also came up to the hospital and visited him last night. Hes been discharged now and his short term memory is not all there yet, but overall hes doing pretty well. Theres a lot of trash talk about law enforcement these days, but for every bad story there are probably several positive ones like this. The staff up at Mercy has also been excellent to us. Thankful for good people.
