Since from last couple of days i am reading articles about whatsapp and whatsapp on web. Wow!!! its a great service provided by team whatsapp. This only inspire me to write something about whatsapp and its great service. We all purchase mobile and we all pay to have personal cell phone. We chat, We send personal pictures and personal videos too. But do you really think that its personal.Its your private chat. Only for official documents whatsapp is a paid application, Did you ever paid a penny for renewing whatsapp service. Two questions in my mind. Why we are getting free service? How whatsapp is earning? If Whatsapp is not earning, Why facebook purchased whatsapp in a big cost. In terms and conditions of whatsapps official website, You will find whatsapp legally ask you to access your contact list and we give the permission blindly. In documents, Whatsapp claims that it do not access your contacts name,address and email. Now after launching whatsapp on web, I dont know how whatsapp is showing my contacts names on web. In permission model of whatsapp application, You will find whatsapp is needing a permission to access your Bluetooth service. Do we have anything related to Bluetooth in whatsapp. Do we really need Bluetooth service in whatsapp, Without even having any Bluetooth related feature in it. Whatsapp also needs permission to check all running applications on the cell phone. I do not understand, Why there is a need to check about other running applications. Whatsapp store your images,videos and all multimedia on personal server. On 9th May 2014, Iran Government ban whatsapp service. Note : For all proofs, Please follow the images. I am not against of any service or app, Its my job to make you aware about the possibilities of cyber threats. Q) Sir, You are trying to say whatsapp is a spy application. Ans) Nope!!!, But there is no one, who guarantee that your personal data is really personal. There is no one who guarantee that whatsapp is not using personal data. Q) Sir, Do i have to uninstall whatsapp? Ans) Uninstalling application is not a solution, Use the service with awareness. Q) Sir, How can i be personal? Ans) 1) Do not store any of your personal data in cell phone. 2) Do not store or share any of your confidential picture or video on any of the messaging platform. 3) Do not install applications and games blindly.
