Since high school, Ive volunteered, worked, and studied in the special education field (some of the most enlightening, challenging, rewarding, heart-warming work Ive done). While Im no longer directly involved in the field, Im thankful for the knowledge (albeit outdated and limited) Ive gained + the wonderful people I met. #Autism is a topic most people ignore until it becomes relevant to them, but with the growing population of those with developmental differences, a little knowledge couldnt hurt. : )
