Since it seems a lot of people do not understand the DIFFERENCE - TopicsExpress

Since it seems a lot of people do not understand the DIFFERENCE between INTELLIGENCE and KNOWLEDGE, here is a refresher course... 1. #Intelligence is the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills. 2. #Knowledge is facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. 3. There are different types of intelligence. They are: Naturalist, Musical, Logical-Mathematical, Existential, Interpersonal, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Linguistic, Intra-personal and Spatial. They are not mutually exclusive. 4. An individuals knowledge has no connection to their intelligence. 5. Your toddler may be more intelligent than you, and most likely is, according to the laws of attraction and evolution. (This may be affected by external influences during embryo implantation and fetus development.) Please DO NOT confuse the two. Just because someone does not know as much as you (which most people overestimate anyway), does not mean they are any less intelligent than you are; Fact is they may be more intelligent than you are, but without the same opportunities as you to develop that intelligence. Also, remember the different types of intelligence...just because someone is horrible at math (even simple math), doesnt mean they arent a genius regarding carpentry, music, human connections, etc. Sorry had to post this because its been driving me crazy that a majority of people do not understand the difference between the two. #andifyadontknownowyaknow
