Since it was expressed publicly, I repost the comment of the very dear follower of Ashtarak Selaniki Mr Peter Filotis regarding the treatment of the Turks towards their jewish minority : This is pretty typical method of intimidating and getting rid of minorities in Turkey. They find an outside excuse and use it to put fear into the heart of those that might have an allegiance with that outside entity, such as Israel, Greece, Cyprus, the US, Russia, Armenia, Kurdistan etc You name it, theyve used it for their Turkification/Islamisation campaigns. This is nothing new. Thats how Turks become Turks. By the way, lets not be surprised that they now hate the Jews. (There are many including Armenians and Greeks alike that have their own hatred of Jews, defending vigorously the Turks because they helped the Jews from Spain. Many still, accuse the Turks of being Zionist and they blame the Jews for the genocide... There are all kinds of conspiracies and nut jobs claiming anything under the moon as long as it feeds their own hatred.) The Turks used Jews just like they used every other minorities they dealt with. Now they are not needed, so the Turks want them out. Its that simple.
