Since last night, Lionel Messi winning the MVP award has been the talk on almost everyones lips. Almost everyone feels he shouldnt have won it. I also felt the same way when his name was called. But who would have won it? Who was so SPECIAL in the whole tournament? Those that were so good were unfortunate to have their countries hoisted out early. If one was asked who should have won it, they go on by naming, Arjen Robben, James Rodriguez, Thomas Muller, Javier Mascherano ETC. But no one person has picked from all these lot. They keep on saying people like. CALL ONE OF THEM NA! To me, it was very nice for FIFA to have given it to Messi, he scored four goals, albeit in the group stage. He still boosted his team to the finals. Even Arjen Robben that could have come close to him did not get to the finals, having lost to that same Lionel Messis Argentina. This guy is just someone that has a lot of load on his shoulders. Nowhere in the world can a tree make a forest. People expect so much from him. You can imagine some people laughing at him for missing that last minute free-kick. As if he has not been scoring such kicks before. ABEG MAKE UNA LEAVE MESSI ALONE. THEM DON GIVE AM, THEM DON GIVE AM. LET HIM WORRY ABOUT MISSING AN OPPORTUNITY TO WIN THE WORLD-CUP THAN THINKING OF ONE LOUSY MVP.
