Since last night at South Central Railway, track restoration work is continuously going on in Visakhapatnam District without any break by hundreds of workforce. The work is going at full swing despite several odds like lack of proper road connectivity, no communication and rains. This morning fresh batch of workers has been deployed to speed up the work and by evening Visakhapatnam Track will be restored by SCR. Shri P.K. Srivastava, General Manager, camped all night at the track breach spot near Elamanchili and is closely monitoring the progress. Note: Today’s Tirupati-Puri Express has been cancelled and 2 special trains will run to clear stranded passengers. 1) From kakinada (at 07:15 pm) to Hyderabad. 2) From Rajahmundry (at 05:20 pm) to Tirupati.
