Since people seem to be misunderstanding how pet microchips work: They are not like lo-jack transmitters. They have no internal power source, they have to be scanned, with an electronic wand, from less than a foot away. You cant just hop online and find your pet. I wish you could, but you cant. You can get them a GPS collar, but the implanted chips arent going to tell you anything unless someone finds your pet and brings them to a vet or animal control to have them scanned for a chip.
