Since releasing Inner Anarchy, I have received a lot of hateful and angry emails and comments, mainly from two groups of people: people with fixed Christian beliefs about Jesus; and people who are anti-Jesus. Its pretty much a tie in terms of how zealous and nasty they can be. It’s a bit absurd that I find myself these days advocating for the historicity of Jesus given the fact that I just released a book with the sub-title: “Dethroning God and Jesus to Save Ourselves and the World.” Be that as it may, I wrote a blog post about the issue of whether Jesus existed, and why I think the truth he bore witness to and demonstrated is something worth listening to.
