Since the 60s and Breed Specific biases, people have blamed the wrong end of the leash. ANY dog can be aggressive and vicious if trained to be, or completely unsocialized and neglected, and ANY breed can be a wonderful loving family dog. We have had pitties in our family, and each and every one of them was wonderful, sweet, devoted... same with my chow/lab Angel who was taken far too young, hhe would have never harmed his family, but on two occassions did protect me ... and our little pittie sweetheart Sugar slept every night in my daughters bed, she loved Caitlin with all of her heart and would NEVER have turned on her. She also would have protected her family with her life if the occassion arose. RIP sweet babies, always in my heart..Thank you for the love and devotion you gave us
