Since the ASPCA has admitted to what we already knew yesterday, - TopicsExpress

Since the ASPCA has admitted to what we already knew yesterday, and the list has been posted here since this morning, we will follow up for those who need clarification. The statement made by ASPCA team member Jill at Safe Haven on November 14th: All decisions have been made by the Board of Directors of Safe Haven and any questions need to be directed to the Board of Directors. Short and sweet. Just like the time between when I realized what was going to take place until the time they set the course of action they chose. Following is the list for all asking. The ASPCA has this list. Safe Havens Board of Directors has this list. It wasnt hard to figure out. We were keeping track of these babies desperately in these last weeks with the fear that something like this would happen. I was at SH on November 13th and made the list of all dogs there, which ones were scheduled for transport and where the ASPCA had listed them as going. On November 14th, I spoke with Lynn Lofthouse and she advised that four additional dogs not slated for transport on November 13th had been added and were going to Delaware Humane Association and Faithful Friends. These four dogs, Barker, Concord, Luke and Mabel made it out. Barely. I want to add that all of these dogs were NOT deemed unadoptable. These were dogs that we, the volunteers or former staff members, interacted with on a regular basis. The ASPCA didnt know these dogs. We could walk in the majority of these dogs kennels at any given time and be greeted with tail wags, kisses and lots of love. The names of the 19 beloved, euthanized kids are as follows: Brandi Camilla Cleatus Club Douglas Fletcher Grayson Humphrey Icarus Jazzy Jessie Jibbs Marcus Mazzie Pirate Rubi Saffron Whittaker Wilton Rest In Peace sweet babies. You didnt deserve this. I am so sorry we couldnt save you and even sorrier I couldnt do more. But you will never be forgotten.
