Since the Ebola outbreak in Western Africa 5,000 lives have been taken. At GEI we understand what a lack of infrastructure can do. Reports indicate increased child pregnancy rates and some girls who should be at school are already planning early marriages. The real tragedy is that if these children miss a year or more of school, it is 50% more likely that they will never return. Closing schools could shut the doors of opportunity for ever for five million children. Financial support is desperately needed, please help us continue to keep our girls in school, by clicking here: https://globalgiving.org/donate/5115/girls-education-international/ mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/gordon-brown-must-stop-ebola-4779968
