Since the UP CPMT examination have been cancelled by the organizers on the last moment without the fault of lakhs of the candidates who appeared in these exams, the basic concept of accountability of governance warrants that all these candidates are appropriately compensated by the organizing committee of these exams. Hence, other than these candidates being allowed to appear in the next exam free of cost, I also demand a compensation of Rs. 2000 (two thousand each) to each candidate as against the expenses incurred in travel, boarding, lodging etc along with the mental and physical harassment caused in the process. If the State government does not announce such a compensation, I shall take the matter before the appropriate Court.
