Since the darn birds decided Keep me awake earlier decided it is time to do a Weather post as we have a wildcard at play for this weekend now. There is a weak disturbance / system just off the Carolina coast coming on shore. While the models never had much with this we are see a convective flair up now around the center of the system. No this is not an invest or tropical depression but it is a tropical disturbance that is meandering north slowly at this hour. While we do not expect much if any impact from this on Saturday it could have a wildcard/ added moisture effect to the warm front that will move through on Sunday. How it will impact the forecast IMO remains to be scene for Sunday. Some short range Guidance during the day on Saturday keeps this system growing somewhat. Have no fear though as of now Sunday is not looking like a washout. Just the potential for a few storms or showers now that this system is at play however we will keep watching it Just incase it becomes something.
