Since there has been so much discussion about pedals I thought I would share my first eBay experience. There was a listing for a rare Rogers blue pedal. Apparently it was a Frankenstein job with a Rogers foot board and whatever else was added. The giveaway for me was when a standard felt beater would not fit because the shaft was too thick. I was ripped off for over $100. The blue pedal does not appear in any catalog. The closest is the Rocket pedal but it is definitely not the same pedal as the Rocket. I still use the pedal though because it has proven to have very quick action. If I ever dump it I will save the foot board and the spring. I am now very cautious of anything I see on eBay that looks too good to be true or is listed as a rare one of a kind item.
