Since this is the last week of October, it is also the last week of PCD Awareness Month. Im so grateful to everyone that attended our PCD Spooktacular Trick or Treat walk a few weeks ago. Ive had a few inquiries of how to donate online to the PCD Foundation and I thought we could have a little fun with any final donations being made. I have joined a team of other PCD families in a campaign called Beliebe for PCD. An online donation link has been set up to the PCD Foundation and when we meet our personal goal, I will have to wear a hideous, ugly Justin Bieber T-shirt for one week straight! I have set my goal at $100. What does Justin Bieber have to do with PCD? Absolutely nothing! However, it is in hope that with me being a mom and not your average Justin Bieber fan, strangers will comment on my shirt and strike up a conversation. I will then tell them about the PCD fundraiser Im involved in. Yes, I promise to go out in public in this embarrassing shirt. I will proudly wear my shirt to Somerst, some fine dining establishments, and of course Ill have to make a trip to Elanas school with it on! All it in the name of charity and finding a cure for my daughter and the other PCDers out there. The fundraiser link will be up until October 31st.
