Since this past weekend, I have been asked by so many what Mothers connections are to Ole MIss...Well, besides Miss Ole MIss and Cheerleader for 4 years, Mother was a favorite and beauty all 4 years and her senior year was inducted into the Ole Miss Hall of Fame. She, along with her sisters who were also cheerleaders, all married OLE MISS REBELS! My uncles, Kayo Dottley and Crawford Mims, were All Americans. My father, Bill McRight, lettered in Football upon returning from WWII. She said to me, why me, Sis? She began naming off SO MANY wonderful OLE MISS Families and yes, all colleges and universities have many wonderful alumni. But I think having all sisters cheer, and all husbands play football is somewhat unique and special. Uncle Kayo was honored last year with his football mural in the athletic facility. Both uncles had tickets honoring them a couple of years ago. With all of that said, we are SO BLESSED that she and Uncle Kayo are still cheering their REBELS on! Our parents started a legacyof love for The UNIVERSITY of MISSISIPPI continues today with our youngest generation attending! If you get to the games on campus, be sure to go by Mothers tent across from the main entrance into the stadium and speak to her. But remember, she likes to give A hug, not a handshake! Hotty Toddy, Yawl!
