Since we are all descendants of our earthly father Adam and have therefore inherited certain sinful dysfunctions and aberrations within our nature some faithful brothers and sisters in Christ struggle to find mental peace. This is because the voices of these sinful dysfunctions and aberrations constantly plague their mind with condemning guilt. We can chose to allow these voices to condemn us or allow our minds to rest in peace by accepting the reality that it is impossible for anyone of us to attain to the inward perfection we might desperately desire and be fully assured that our lack of perfection is covered by grace. No faithful brother or sister in Christ should allow these condemning voices to rob them from the joy and at peace of the Lord, to do so, is not only denying the grace of God, but also denying what Christ achieved for us on the cross and making his death count for nothing.
